Nice catch, truth.

Rob, non-citizen legal residents who work here pay taxes just like everyone else. Much of the cheap labor our country was built on in the past was in fact that of immigrants--the Chinese and Irish built our railroads, the Irish, Italians, and many others built our cities in the Northeast. Also keep in mind that emergency rooms are required to treat people regardless of citizenship status, so you are already paying for many low-income immigrants' care, you're just paying for treating them once they've gotten sick rather than preventing them from getting sick in the first place.

Undocumented aliens are explicitly banned from receiving a health insurance subsidy in HR 3200.

Which brings me back to my original concerns with Universal Healthcare... How much of my tax funds are going to be used by non-citizens and utilize (I will be nice and NOT use the word abuse) all the funds before American Citizens who NEED this support can get it.

I am not saying this isn't great ideal, I am saying the loop holes left in this system are going to run us into the ground through abuse. How about before we support our countries existing cheap labour (Mexico, Philippines, India), and we support the previous cheap labour our country was built on, our elders. :o)

I live in an area plagued with issues stemming from Illegal Immigration. Every day, I see the effects that Illegal Immigration has on my local communities, our local crime rate, and how it effects benefits given to citizens who need it.

Should I be scared about a lot of these changes going on? I believe so, specially when large groups of people are making decisions on what to do with my tax dollars, and soon to be even more tax dollars. I am just not comfortable letting government spend my money anymore, when I know it will be only to serve their interests and lobby panels.

As for truth, here is the truth I can focus on. 25% of my paycheck goes to the City, State and Federal government. These funds are supposed to go to services that would help citizens in need. I have seen the state of California already go broke.

From those truths:

*IF* we get taxed more, how many people are going to drop private insurance, and pick up "free" insurance?

*IF* Everyone starts to migrate to these plans, how long until these bank accounts dry up? Will this limit recipients of these programs?

*IF* These plans do dry up, where will I ever see *MY* return on investment from extra taxes I paid?

I say extra taxes, but I am also counting taxes diverted from programs that have already been cannibalized, such as education.
Rob, I think you need to learn how to think critically. From your post you sound frightened. All these horrible things are going to happen!

Where did you hear all these things? Could it be that the person you heard them all from has ulterior motives? Perhaps they want you to be scared.

You asked a lot of questions. You should research them, and see the lack of truth behind what you are implying. This journal is called truthful politics, and from what I've seen the blogger is trying to critically review what she writes.

Your comments weren't focused on truth, they were focused on fear. Use your mental capacity to overcome your fear.
I just would like to know a few things....

Who is going to pay for the excessive health care? Where are the funds going to come from in an already broke economy? Will they redirect funds from someplace, and will it be robbing from education, or other programs that are still needed? Will there be more taxation on my income to cover this, on top of the extra taxes I am being charged this year by federal and state? Will my funds also be support illegal aliens medical bills even more than they do now? Will my funds be used to pay medical bills for the children of illegal aliens? How can my government explain paying bills for non-citizens or citizens that do not contribute to society when they are able?

Yeah, I say find a less obvious/expensive way to implement Eugenics across our nation. I can find many more cost effective methods in this worlds history... I just don't think it musters up in the morality campaign.

Either way, we aren't stable enough to pay for millions of peoples health bills. Our business leaders are too stupid and greedy, and will lead to a $2000 tongue depressor billed to uncle sam.
